OT assessment & intervention
Goal-directed occupational therapy for daily life — self-care, mobility, community access, routines and participation. Sessions happen where life happens: your home, your neighbourhood, or via telehealth.
EnquireCommunio Allied Health Services is a small occupational therapy practice supporting NDIS participants and older Australians — in your home and community, at your pace. Practical assessments, clear reports, and therapy built around real life.
Who we are
Communio is a small, generalist OT practice. We work with people of all ages who want to stay safe, independent and involved in everyday life — from NDIS participants preparing for a plan review, to older Australians who want to keep living well at home. One point of contact, plain English, and honest advice first.
What we do
Goal-directed occupational therapy for daily life — self-care, mobility, community access, routines and participation. Sessions happen where life happens: your home, your neighbourhood, or via telehealth.
EnquireComprehensive functional capacity assessments (FCAs) and formal report writing — clear, evidence-linked documents for NDIS plan reviews and access requests, and assessment reports for aged-care funding.
Common questionsFrom simple daily-living aids to scripted equipment — assessment, trials, prescriptions and the funding paperwork that goes with them, so you get gear that actually gets used.
EnquireGrab rails, ramps, bathroom modifications and small changes that make a big difference — assessed, specified and followed through with the right trades and funding body.
EnquirePractical home safety assessments — falls prevention, access, lighting, layouts and routines — so home stays the safest place to be, for as long as possible.
EnquireCommunio is a generalist practice — if it involves daily life, independence or participation, it's worth asking. If we're not the right fit, we'll say so and point you to someone who is.

Anyone can refer · NDIS, My Aged Care & private welcome
Anyone can refer — you, a family member, a support coordinator, a GP or an aged-care provider. Two minutes on the referral form is plenty, whatever the funding body. You'll hear back within two business days.
Before anything is booked, we talk through what's going on, what you're hoping for, and how it's funded — NDIS, My Aged Care or private. If Communio isn't the right fit, you'll get honest advice on where to go next.
Assessment happens where life happens — at home, out in the community, or via telehealth where suitable. No clinic-room performance; just a clear, respectful look at what's working and what needs support.
Findings become a plain-English report with practical recommendations — therapy goals, equipment, modifications or funding evidence — and a walkthrough so nothing on the page is a surprise.
